Sticking to either Blue or Red has given me an awesome experience but it did not necessarily feel in line with what my Grace would do y'know. On my first playthrough I kept trying to choose options that I thought might make Aphrodite see how she can't keep going the way she has been (I "focused on her survival", told her I disapprove of the ritual but still tried to hear her out during the song) and that led to the most lackluster version of the song. I had no idea how amazing the Blue path was as well until now. One of my favorite's after replaying with single color choices though.Īfter playing through The Ritual a third (fourth?) time I have to agree with this. But it just sounded terrible and the song didn't work at all. Stray Gods is written by David Gaider, best known for his work at BioWare on games including Baldur's Gate 2, Neverwinter Nights, Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, and the Dragon Age series. I could have just got the most unfortunate series of choices, but I also think that "doing the right thing" for lack of a better term, should be a flowing path as that was the dialogue choices I was choosing, letting aphrodite tell her story and convincing her to live.
